IEC 63110-1
The first part, published in 2022, of an IEC protocol series for managing electric-vehicle charging and discharging infrastructure: definitions, use cases and architecture for energy-transfer management, charger asset management, authentication and payment, and cybersecurity. Like OCPP, it governs the link between chargers and the systems that run them, and its scope includes discharging for vehicle-to-grid.

Example
Stationary, industrial and product standards: an example situation
A cell-level test does not establish fire performance or commissioning requirements for a complete installation.
Read IEC 63110-1 alongside Electric vehicle supply equipment in this context. The charging equipment between the grid and the vehicle: an AC wallbox that only switches and protects the supply, or a DC charger that also converts it. It enforces the current limit, ground-fault protection and communication with the vehicle.
