Behavior

CC mode commands positive a amperes and CP mode positive w watts; direction is supplied by the step kind. Duration is an exact multiple of dtS. An optional until condition stops at an observed sample.

Interface

Discharge interfaceInputs or arguments on the left, observed outputs on the right. Conserving terminals appear below the component. The tables give units and behavior.DischargeProtocol step

This reference describes a protocol step; its configuration fields are listed below. It has no connected Studio ports.

Equations and rules

This step is defined by its sequence and stopping conditions, described above.

Worked example

Repeat charge/discharge

Twenty 50%-depth discharges give ten discharge-equivalent full cycles at fixed nominal capacity.

Use in a workflow

Stop at a declared limit

A discharge can end at temperature or voltage thresholds.

  1. Discharge with ending condition: Stops at threshold
    • mode: cc
    • until: tC or vCell
    • Maximum duration
Open Design → Protocol bench

Repeat charge/discharge

Cycle aging block repeats charge, discharge and rest.

  1. Discharge: Removes charge
    • mode: cc
    • a / s

Limits and interpretation

  • Scheduling cycles does not supply calibrated degradation or physical lifetime evidence.
  • This simulated screen is not abuse testing or proof that the battery or protection system is safe.
  • Protocol dtS is 1e-6 to 60 s. CC and CP segments cannot share one protocol; CCCV charge must stand alone. Protocol samples use discharge-positive iPack.
