Kilogram-force
The force gravity exerts on one kilogram, 9.81 newtons. Large prismatic cells are often tested clamped at a stated fixture force, such as 300 kgf or about 2.9 kN, to hold them the way a module would.

Example
Units and electrical basics: an example situation
10 A for 30 min transfers 5 Ah. At constant 3.6 V this is 18 Wh; varying voltage requires integration.
Read Kilogram-force alongside Prismatic cell in this context. A cell in a rigid rectangular metal case, holding either a flattened jelly roll or stacked sheets. Large prismatic cells pack tightly into battery packs. Large prismatic cells are often named by thickness, width and height in millimetres, so a 71173207 cell is about 71 × 173 × 207 mm.
