EMI filter

A network of inductors and capacitors, typically common-mode chokes with X and Y capacitors, that stops high-frequency noise travelling along cables. Inverters, chargers and DC/DC converters need them to pass compatibility tests; on high-voltage lines the Y capacitors to chassis also store energy and pass touch current, which safety standards limit.

2500 in a log might mean 25.00 °C, 2.5 V or raw counts. Units and scale must accompany the value.

Read EMI filter alongside DC/DC converter in this context. The power electronics that step the high-voltage pack down to 12 V or 48 V for the auxiliary systems, replacing the alternator of a combustion car. Boost converters also appear between an 800 V pack and a 400 V charger.
