Behavior

Validates explicit authored-unit annotations against an allowed-unit set, without silently changing numerical values.

This reference describes a studio block; its configuration fields are listed below. It has no connected Studio ports.

Parameters

Defaults are initial model values. Select values for your own model and operating conditions.

Equations and rules

  • allowed(annotation unit) must be true for every annotated numerical parameter

Worked example

Authored unit policy — executable model

An annotated2-second parameter passes an SI-style policy. Annotating the same value in centimetres is rejected when cm is not allowed.

Limits and interpretation

  • Checks annotations, not inferred units for every equation. Unannotated parameters are not assigned a unit automatically. The root policy applies to definitions unless they declare their own policy.

Reference basis

This compiler and software type contract is defined by the documented behavior and executable example; no external research result or full external API parity is claimed.
