Recorded signal — worked example
Plays a local numeric time series with linear interpolation or previous-value hold. Values outside its time range hold the nearest endpoint.
- Recorded signal: f = (t − tₖ)/(tₖ₊₁ − tₖ). Linear: y(t) = (1−f)yₖ + f yₖ₊₁; hold: y(t) = yₖ.

Connected concepts
Limits and interpretation
- At most 4096 strictly increasing nonnegative times and 65536 values; endpoint values are held outside the table.
- Local numeric CSV, TSV or semicolon-delimited data are supported; spreadsheet formulas and workbook formats are not evaluated.
