Battery voltage monitor

Reports each channel below/above its bounds and a combined fault.

Behavior

Compares each measured channel with strict lower and upper bounds. A value equal to a bound does not trip. The combined output is true when any channel is outside the bounds.

Interface

Battery voltage monitor worked example

Reports each channel below/above its bounds and a combined fault.

  1. Battery voltage monitor: Compares each measured channel with strict lower and upper bounds. A value equal to a bound does not trip. The combined output is true when any channel is outside the bounds.

Limits and interpretation

  • Bounds are user-supplied. This comparator does not disconnect a circuit or diagnose a sensor failure.
  • The example verifies numerical behavior for synthetic parameters. Cell characterization and validation for an intended use are separate tasks.
