Engineering evaluation
Compare bottom-only, top-only and combined cooling under the same duty and inlet conditions. Treat each configuration as a separate study.
A future thermal network should distinguish the cell, terminal and busbar, insulating interface and coolant. Characterize geometry and material properties before assigning thermal resistances.
Related cooling research
The experimental cold-plate comparison is useful reading when defining a fair baseline: it examines temperature distributions and pressure drop for different cooling arrangements. Its LTO module and cold plates differ from the proposed CCS assembly; the paper does not establish a benefit for this concept.
Use the characterized-inputs checklist and comparison-evidence requirements to record what a Lemonergy study would need to test.
Patent and commercial references
No matching patent publication has been verified for this concept. The article publisher is not automatically the patent owner. An unverified reference does not mean no patent exists.
No commercial part number or qualifying datasheet has been supplied. Existing CCS catalog ratings do not qualify a cooled CCS assembly.
Implementation and evidence status
Top cooling remains a proposed study. No top-cooling model, validated thermal performance or cooling benefit is asserted here.
The related parts are reference points for evaluation. Links to those parts do not mean they implement this concept.
