Behavior
y(t) = input history at t − fixed delay. The worked example connects this operation to signals in Lemonergy Studio.
Interface
| Name | Direction | Unit | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
in0 | input | 1 | Input; real scalar. |
out0 | output | 1 | Delayed; real scalar. |
Parameters
Defaults are initial model values. Select values for your own model and operating conditions.
| Parameter | Unit | Default | Meaning and limits |
|---|---|---|---|
Delayparams[0] | s | 0.2 | Strictly positive; also bounds the solver step. |
History capacityparams[1] | 1 | 1024 | Accepted points; insufficient capacity stops the run instead of discarding needed history. |
Prehistory valuestables[0] | 1 | [0] | Configured coefficients or initial values in column-major order. |
Equations and rules
y(t) = input history at t − fixed delay

Continuous transport delay — worked example
Delays a continuous signal using accepted simulation history.
- Continuous transport delay: y(t) = input history at t − fixed delay. The worked example connects this operation to signals in Lemonergy Studio.

- Implementation tested locally; public release pending.
Connected concepts
Limits and interpretation
- Fixed strictly positive delay; immutable accepted-step linear history; source and prehistory discontinuities propagate through cascaded delays. Method-of-steps bound and finite buffer are enforced.
- Shapes and element types are explicit. Values must be finite; automatic reshaping and unit conversion are not performed.
